Free-flowering water lily with original beautiful flowers with double color white with internal flower light purplish pink, created by french hybridizer Bory Latour-Marliac, but selected by Guy Maurel in 1980. This variety surely was an overlooked seedling from the same cross that bore the exceedingly rare 'Tulipformis.'
